Great video. Really appreciate it. Almost throw my splitter in the bin. When i bought it for my TT called a friend of mine to fit it for me and he told me it was the wrong splitter nowhere to fit on the Audi. I actually put it in the bin but decided to take it back from the bin next day and kept it. Was looking for something on KZbin and came across this brilliant video. Thank you do very much mate.

Nath Prend happy to help, just replacing as your one is tired? When it’s off be worth checking your side mount inter coolers are clear and free of debris. Mine were caked up in crap

Urko Lizarralde haha your learning fast! There is a few reasons why that’s so true, the cars are 20 years old so need lots of maintenance, there is a large amount of after market parts and upgrades both visual and performance. Then once you go faster it just gets worse 😂

Thanks appreciate it, it should do yea. I have seen people fitting all the same splitters to v6’s. One of the nicest is a universal rubber stick on splitter trim. Look at the red v6 I did a video on not long ago

Hey, you know what it’s been so long I’ve forgotten, I think if I done it again I would use tech screws for everything except the centre. The side bolts don’t need to be long. The centre two need to be 35-50mm

Great video, really helpful. This is now on my job list to do on my TT. What was the length of the bolts, epsecially the 2 centre ones? Have you a link for them?

Thank you for the kind words. I’ll be honest since doing it I have help others fit there and it’s just as easy to fit with tech screws or self drilling screws. All my bolts and screws are always purchased from toolstation and screwdriver buddy :)

stainless steel bolts and nuts, the nuts are nylock to avoid them coming loose

@@jnrsmooth sorry, usually I note it down but didn’t. If you measure the splitter it’s easy enough to work out. Need 2 sizes. One for the centre spaced parts and one for the rest

Yes mate its a seat leon 1m is the model, not sure if they went on as long as that, i know they were still made in 2005

I just got a black mk1 225, the splitter came with the car as he wouldn’t need it anymore but anyways is it possible to mount it with bumper on?

John Holodnick it’s still perfect, only time I wouldn’t recommend it is if your car is really low but that’s the same as most splitters haha
