Hi guys, I'm installing this on my truck, I see that there is a gap between the roof and rail, I haven't tightened the bolts, if I do it, will the gap disappear? In you video cut that part so I am not sure. I am afraid that I'll bend the roof if I continue. Thanks.

Great video. I had my original rails removed years ago for a paint job. They have been leaking ever since. Turned out somebody lost the foam rings. It seems you cant buy the originals from Nissan. Do you have any idea what kind of foam they are? And how thick? Many thanks!

You need a closed cell neoprene foam rubber - around 6 - 6 mm should be OK Make sure it is closed cell not open cell

Good question .... i guess it depends how the weight is distributed ! but i would think you could get 100Kg + but dont go driving with this load !

On our truck we dont have this problem but this is a risk ! The factory use this system to mount the rails and there is no problem on the factory trucks so you should be OK
