How to fit SVO style arm rest adjuster knobs to Range Rover L405

Just a note, I did this yesterday on my 67 plate L405. Not sure when it changed but on later models you need to remove the side closest to the seat.. the video shows the opposite side. When removing there’s a white clip that needs to be levered out, but it’s pretty much the same process. I almost destroyed my arm rest trying to copy this video.. u til realised it had changed. Hope that helps - still takes about 5 mins per side and very straight forward

Brainbash I’ve just tried mine 17 plate and couldn’t get one side off - closest to seat did come off and I saw a white plastic piece as mentioned but not the same kind of u shaped clip so left it - how does the white clip come out - any idea ?

@@L663 fitted mine today and had the same, 2015 VSE. another tip is that the white clip comes out and goes in much easier if the armrest is wound to its most elevated position :)

Just got my set. They look great. One question the arm rests won’t go down as low as before. Is there a trick??

Have you rotated the knobs ? this is the purpose of the knobs to adjust the hieght... or are you saying that at maximum adjustment they are too high ?

powerfulukltd yes I have rotated the knobs. I guess I’m trying to say the armrests do not have the same range of motion. I turn the knobs and they get tight and the armrest will only go down about level or so slightly above the center console.
