How to fix 4f9 error air conditioning

Explanation about how to repair the fan blow motor of the air conditioning when in the CLIMATRONIC appears the 4f9 error. It is very easy to do and no tool is needed to repair the air conditioning.

Thanks for taking the time to make a video and explain this, it worked very well. Very much appreciated, you saved me a ton of hassle. Based on my situation, I had a feeling it should be a quick, easy fix. If the error will keep persisting, I will have to find someone with an OBD diagnosis tool to erase it from the ECU - but at least I can still use the car just fine, it’s pretty cold outside, not to mention the condensation that appears on the windshield.

so...at the start of the video since you had the 4f9 your fan wasnt working right? and how did u get the back panel out? (seat ibiza 6l 2004)

+Ungravity D Yes, at the start of the video de air conditioning did not work. To get the back panel out it is very easy there are just a few screws. Nowadays and it has spent almost a year the air conditioning still works perfectly!

my climatronic fan is very strange... after i start my car, the fan work perfectly for about 30 seconds, before it slowly dies out. i have no error codes in the system. i will pick up my new fan on tuesday. i hope it's really something wrong with just the fan, and nothing else :)
