I got a new Sim From EE. Same issue. The guy in store seemed to know what he was talking about and basically said its because 5G isn't fully rolled out yet what happens is the phone bounces back and forth between 4G and 5G and it seems to mess up the signal strength so advised to just switch of 5G and use 4G only. He explained it more technically lol but I have done this and had no issues since.

My phone works fine and fast usually but not it keeps switching between full 5G to full 4G so it doesn't load anything. It just keeps switching every couple of seconds. It's dropping calls now, and I have to keep hitting airplane mode when on the move. It used to work great, and everyone around me with the same service has full 5G and everything loads instantly. Maybe it's upgrade time? I got the fold 3 and fold 5 is out in 2 weeks. Is my phone just burnt out, and I need an upgrade, or is there something else I can do?

What a joke this "5g" is!!!! It NEVER WORKS unless I'm at home,on my Xfinity wifi!! I can't watch KZbin,or any videos,go on ebay,or any other app while I'm at work!!!!! The circle just keeps spinning!! It is SOOO ANNOYING!!! I just bought this phone 2 weeks ago! I absolutely HATE IT!!!! The worker at Metro talked like 5g was this heaven sent thing! WHY even have 5g if not everyone supports it?? I'd rather have my old 4g phone at this point!!! At least it's "supported "!!!!! Why even sell something if it doesn't even work??!!! Same I have this issue as well, I'd be on wifi at home then when i gotta work I can only use my 5G to make calls and text, but I can't use google or watch youtube, it is really stupid.

You're missing the point and thus, your suggestions are of no use to us. What most of us want to know is: We own 5G Android phones. My S23 has run in 5G since I bought it 2 weeks ago - UNTIL TODAY. I'm in the same location I've been in the past 2 weeks. I've logged off for 2-3 minutes and turned it back on. Nothing has worked, any ideas?

So how to fix it exactly, from what we alrdy tried? ... 4 me, ill have full bars 5g, and you tube will act as if no data "not with a no data message " but act as if the slowest network ever, will just sit in buffing "T-mobile " ..ill end up putingb phone into airplane mode for at least one min, long enough for the phone to enter airplane mode, truly, then sit in it like 30 plus seconds, then turn off and wait..

My phone and plan both have 5g. I have access to 5g towers within range. I know this because SOMETIMES my phone will have 5 bars of 5g data. Most of the time it'll sit on 1 bar of 4g lte. Both of these instances occur within my apartment bedroom.
