@@aronp713 Sorry to say the previous cut was bad Aron. It was 'steppy', meaning there were chunks taken out, not blended , like a brick wall with missing bricks or a ladder without rungs is another analogy. No tapering on the top, in other words going from long to short with no gradual cutting to blend it. The cut was just hacked. Believe me all barbers are humans and have off days and in all fairness I have seen alot worse. Anyway no offence, personally to you , just wanted to share some of my experience as a retired barber.

From one Barber to another, Well Done sir! These are beginner mistakes when they cut the hair too short at the crown and I cut it too short in the rescission areas! My great-grandfather was an Austrian trained Barber and I've been barbering for Several decades.

Great video MC ! Most youtubers would never put a fix up cut like this because it is difficult to maintain the integrity of this style when it has been cut like an undercut. Most youtubers I’ve seen, claiming to do a ‘fix up’ would typically shave the top to a 3 or 4 guard, fade it on the sides and call it a ‘fix up’. The Top was done extremely well!! He completely sorted out those problems, with that said the fade from the occipital bone still needed to be faded out,as you could still see the bulk of hair from ear to ear throughout the end of the video.

My 19 year old hasn't gotten a haircut "professionally" in about 2 years because he has never liked how his hair was cut. He wanted me to hack at it and he liked it. I remember back in the early 2000s emo and punk stages when barbers and hair salons usually had no idea what kind of haircut we wanted and you'd have one screw it up and then you'd have to go to another to fix it. So eventually we just started breaking hand pencil sharpeners at school and using it to cut each other's hair and we got PROFICIENT at it. We'd have each other's hair cut in a matter of minutes after a while, it was great. All it cost was a soda or a burned mix CD. It's a shame to see barbers and stylists still don't keep up with the in style cuts. But good on this barber for knowing what he's doing and being awesome!
