First I installed the wrong firmware and WiFi was disabled; downloaded the correct fw and everything is back as it was!! Thanks bro

This worked perfectly. I ran into the same issue at the 6:15. This was due to me using the cheap Ebay usb/micro-usb cable. The image would flash half way and then just fail. It happened multiple times across multiple cables even after restarting Odin. Ended up buying a quality cable and it went through without a hitch. So if you run into that issue and a restart of Odin doesn't work, change your cable.

I can help download the Samsung USB Driver that's why it won't connect secondly download mode does work. Even on a bricked device just try it again restart the phone manually by holding middle of the volume button and the power button and home button it should restart it then quickly hold volume down and power button and home button. I hope I helped.

Hey man , so i did an oopsie and i'm kinda struggling to fix it. I tried installing Lollipop on android GT-P5210 and unfortunately i did not like it. I downloaded it using sd card and added some stuff in teamwork or something like that. And then it started crashing so i installed another ROM using odin and now it's stuck in a loading screen that says "OrangeTM"

Look for debrick img or emmc dump for your device, write to sd card with win32 disk imger and, then put sd card into phone, boot to dl mode and enjoy.

Tablet isnt really "bricked" if it turn on, no less boots into recovery... I spent three days trying to fix my galaxy tab s3 sm-t820. It inexplicably wouldnt boot one day. A couple times it actually made it to the "tablet starting" optimizing apps screen but usually crashed at app 12 though it once got to 20 and other times didnt get passed 7. So i didn't have anything too valuable in there so i figured id factory reset it through odin. I downloaded a bunch of zips for my model from different places. Sometimes utd say it passed in odin other times it would say it failed. But either way the tab never booted up. It would boot into stock recovery and say it was installing updates. Usually it would then go straight into recovery where the first line under the recovery menu options read "failed to open recovery." Other times it would start installing the update on the blue screen where it'd climb to 32% before stopping and going to another blue screen that said "erasing." Then again it would boot into the recovery menu with the message that it failed to open recovery on the top line. So then i installed twrp and shockingly it worked. I had it rooted with magisk and was able to see both the internal and external sd card memories when plugged into my pc. So i figured id try a custom rom. No dice. It would always crash during installation. And again here i tried a bunch of downloads from different sources as well as a few different roms all designed for the smt820. Crash, crash, crash. So in doing some trial and error i again tried through odin to reinstall the factory firmware. And eventually i got it to boot into the factory tecovery menu with the same error. Other times it would stay in a bootloop unless i put it into download mode. But i could still get into download mode, so the trial and error expiraments raged on. I read somewhere about "combination firmware" being a way to diagnose the issue if not fix it through updates once yhe combo firware was flashed. So i didnt have much to lose. I found the firmware that had the same binary code as the download and recovery mode screens listed as that of my device. So i flashed it in Odin. I forgot to uncheck auto reboot. The firware said it passed and my tablet turned off and will not turn on. The power and volume down for 1 min trick doesnt wake it up. I let it sit overnight plugged in and still nothing. Its shot. Im pissed.

Thanks dude. Thought I lost my i9000 GS1 forever after a boot loop I was struggling to get into DL mode. Fixed using the original PDA .md5 file I found online and basic odin flash guidance here. Good work. Should mention in comments, if not connecting (showing COM-X-) in Odin, to downlaod Samsung's official USB drivers (exe file on their website) - or try manufacturers OEM cable and a different USB port if not picking up the phone connection on the USB port being used.

THANKS VERY MUCH Tech Alpha. Ran into some serious issues by flashing the recovery file belonging to a different Samsung handset model. Your video guided me in the right direction to recovery the handset. I documented my findings: Learning points Flashing the incorrect recovery files including image files belonging to another model sub-type (e.g. flashing a recovery for Samsung SM-G930FD into a Samsung SM-G930F handset model) will cause the device to start boot-looping on attempt to boot normally or boot into recovery mode. Odin or Download mode will still be available. Once the incorrect recovery file as been flashed as described above, the ONLY solution is (or could be) to use Odin to flash the ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE FIRMWARE FILES that came with the handset when newly purchased (from Manufacturer or Vendor). Attempting to flash other firmwares, including those with the same bootloader version or Android OS as the original firmware still FAILED! After returning the handset to its original manufactured state then one can then proceed to flash another desired and supported firmware version for the handset model.

Dude! You are a Champion. It worked! Can confirm this worked for the Samsung Tab A SM-T385 (Australia Telstra) Odin 3.13.1 Firmware TEL-T385DXU3BSD1_T385TEL3BSD2-20190412 from samsung-firmware org Power + Volume Down button to get to recovery/download mode. Home button not required for my device. After flashing my system it went into a loop. Tried everything to fix it then found this method. I had no issues flashing as shown in this video. THANK YOU Tech Alfa! I just followed your instructions and rescued my S5 mini yee hah! Never thought I would get into anything like this but I have and I am glad, not just fixed my phone but learnt something new aswell. Mind you I did the firmware process and it was success, but I thought there was a problem because seemed to be doing boot loop thing again but did battery out/battery in again, did button selection (home-volume UP-power, let go power button straight after white logo has appeared but keep holding the other 2) then I was able to get all the recovery options up THAT I NEVER COULD PREVIOUSLY, so then I did wipe cache and then factory reset, went black and then just Samsung white logo and was like that for LONG TIME, in fact came back on KZbin looking at solution to "stuck on white Samsung logo after firmware download" then when I went back to my phone IT WAS ALIVE and asking for language and beginning the process like when new. In fact when I thought I had got things wrong was because I had done "wipe cache" before factory reset, but anyway its all back to normal working because I have JUST finished the set up, you know when you go through all the choices and stuff like when its new, just gotta put sim card in now. THANKS A LOT MATE, GREAT. By the way, on Monday just gone (3 days ago) I rushed out and bought a new (cheapish) phone even tho I kinda new in back of my mind I could get my S5 fixed, anyway the relief is great. THANK YOU. By the way (again) , got firmware from firmware.org, only $7 dollars for 7 days access, real bargain. Just got the latest firmware and its worked, really pleased.

Sorry I was wrong, you can not install the twrp without using the device before, you have to reinstall the firmware from SAMMOBILES or other pages.

@@croscc so I had my Samsung galaxy tab 4 10.1 for 4 years now, and its been 3 days that it keeps rebooting and getting stuck in the Samsung logo. I can't even turn it off since it will restart again when I hold the power down. It only turns off when its out of charge. I have alot of important pictures I can't recover without fixing this so I cant reset my device completely. I tried deleting the cache but it still dosent work. Do you think the problem is the battery? Should I buy a new one? In afraid even if I buy a new battery it would still not work and my money will be wasted. Please help me what is the problem?

Bro can you explain to me how to flashed original firmware after my device is rooted. (OEM OFF) .. I have tried downloading many firmwares but does not work at all.. however, when I go to the third party phone repair shops.. they actually managed to bypass it and safely restored to the original firmwares. I even go to the samsung help center to help me out but they said mine already void warranty so can't.. Only option they gave me is to buy new motherboard for the s8.. ffs costs more than I actually send my phone to the 3rd party repair shops.

I'm surprised this works. I"ve installed custom roms on newer phones, but I'm having difficulty with an old note SGH-I7I7. In the process, I ended up bricking my phone... Luckly this brought it back.. time to try again! :) FYI, if anyone is wondering, I used the clockwork custom recovery to root the Galaxy note 1 AT&T, but was not able to install the custom rom even though the phone shows as rooted... WHen I try to overisde clockwork recovery with TWRP... twrp isn't regisering my phone as rooted, even though the app checker confirms my phone is rooted... I'm going to try to odin method again to install another custom recovery.. Update, so I was finally able to flash a custom rom... unfortunatley... twrp kept failing to install gapps seperatley.... officially will have to revert to the default firmware
