How to fix a clogged airbrush

My airbrush was bubbling in the cup. Watched other videos on how to fix that by unscrewing and cleaning the front tip, then reseating the tip, but that didn't work. If anyone is having the problem with bubbling where a little spray comes out and then stops, you need to do a deep clean like the one shown here. My airbrush never worked this well before. Never knew that alcohol would break up the gunk. Thanks for the clear video! Appreciate it.

Two notes: 1.) Masterfully done video. Solid combination of being short, to the point, and thorough. 2.) Fuckin LOVE the shirt, man! (I'm from the South, so .... wearing that comes with a little risk down here, unfortunately) Question - and forgive my ignorance, because I get sort-of "conventional" cuts (Mohawk, and braided after a fresh cut, but ... technically still "conventional)) ...What is the purpose of a spray gun for cutting hair? Presumably to 'paint' hair, but wouldn't that just wash out after a handful of days? Is that just an accepted thing? Or am I missing something? Legitimately curious.
