How To Fix a Collapsed Water Tank

These are two Bushman 4050 gallon polyethylene (plastic) water tanks that collapsed due to snow load. This is a solution to fix that problem. With how widespread the damage was from the 2023 winter season in California and on the west coast, I’m sure someone else will find value from this video. Yet another part of living off the grid!

I used this method on my imploded Norwesco water hauling tank. Valued at $500.00! It worked in 2 seconds using an electric leaf blower. Back to normal! Thank You soooo much.

QUESTION: HOW SAFE ARE THESE WATER TANKS? Do forever chemicals leech into the water from the tanks?

I don’t use these tanks for drinking water supply, but many, many people do. To answer your question, I truthfully don’t know- they probably do, over time. I put these in primarily for irrigation and fire suppression.
