my channel was hacked back in july of last year. before that, most of my videos was ranking on youtube search results. the hacker remove most of my vidoes including the ones ranking on youtube. before the hacking incident, i used to earn 2000+ from youtube and now i barely earn 300$ a month. i was able to get my channel back tho. but the damage was done. now my channel is dead. i tripled my effort and also, improved my editing. but still not result. the only point i liked about his video is, dont compare yourself with others. just keep doing what you love the way you want. there will be someone who will like your work. i used to compare my videos with others on my channel level. it not only gave me depression, it also snatched my motivation to make videos. so my advice for those who have dead channel is, just dont give up. make the videos that your audience want. you can find the interest of your audience by going to your channel's analytics and research tab.

I spent 5 years basically off the platform because I stopped doing it for fun and instead started worrying about the metrics. The viewer could tell and my channel stopped growing and I eventually stopped. Now I'm thinking of KZbin like another habit like brushing my teeth and if I'm not having fun then I need to find the fun again. The other key is just patience and trust the process. I'm going on 3 years on trying to revive my channel. It still feels like there are no returning subscribers or audience. I have increased editing quality, reduced slow points, kept the screen dynamic, and I like to think I can sound entertaining. I'm not sure what more I can do to keep the time invested worth even making the videos. If it takes over a month to produce a video, that is way too much time and effort. I like to do those large videos sometimes but there is no way that could be my weekly upload, or even monthly.

Been here since late 2019/early 2020 and I still haven’t picked up momentum (I’m less than 500 subscribers) I’m posting more frequently, and my video’s quality have improved. I’m not really a keyword ninja yet though, and I could improve my vocal presence/ personality in my videos for sure. I do want extreme results. Did you stop your channel? I found the grind to be brutal once the algo stopped recommending my videos. Subscribers stopped getting notifications. Activity dropped off heavy there. Like 3 months later I'm wondering if I can wake this back up.

Not all channels are the same, but i uploaded daily for 49 days and it sort killed my channel growth, i was getting 1000 views an hour and $100 a day on Adsense…but when i was getting close to that 49 days i noticed a sharp drop on views and $$$$ that was July 1st…..i stopped daily and took a break…one video a week and views kept dropping…Then i had an event and had a mad rush of videos and got some views back but still nothing like May and June…. Now I’m back to 2-3 videos a week and i see signs of views bouncing back……I always sort of known this… for my channel i must upload 2-3 videos a week, no more no less…..most of the time lol Also very important, i made videos that took weeks to do that bombed when they were launched but fast forward a year later they have thousand of views! So it is worth it to take that extra time on the videos even if they don’t deliver at the beginning, just don’t take too much time.

Hey Brian thanks for the video! I wouldn't exactly call my channel dead at this point, but my most popular videos are tutorials of hypixel skyblock, and thats not really content im interested in making anymore. I still do minecraft, but am doing more survival minecraft challenges like those popularized by dream. The thing is youtube says that most of the channels I share my viewers with are skyblock channels, so I worry that this is hurting my chances at getting recommended.
