Thank you so much for this video. Just got my platter out of a very old Akai turntable following your tips. After removing it I use Autosol to lighly polish the hole inside the platter and the motor stem using cotton bud. Then apply lightly grease on the inside of the platter and no more stuck platter.

Currently I'm still a big chicken when it comes to electronics but each one of these videos, the shipping, the repair instruction, etc. are easing me into trying these things for myself. Keep up the great content and your viewership will grow exponentially.

Thanks for posting this. I have an HT-320 I'm working on and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to remove the platter. I thought there was some sort of release mechanism I was missing or that I had to access it from the bottom. Should have came to KZbin first!

Simple and effective. Worked with my ht324. Picked up a full hitachi system for £15. Just need to work out how to change the belts on the cassette d35s and what size belts to use. Thank you.

Thanks a lot for this video. Got myself an HT 324 a couple of days. But it plays to slow. And when i compare your belt with mine, i guess mine is worn out and to loose. So i placed an order to get a new belt. And i hope that this will fix the speed problem.

Awesome video, is this a good turntable?

Average turntable. Nothing super valuable. Only pay a few bucks for them.

@@goldenstatepicker Would you, please, recommend a cartridge that fits this turntable best in terms of price/quality ratio to replace the original MT-30?

The plate of mine doesn't spin when is on 33 but only on 45, does the motor pulley needs to go up when it's on 33 and down when is on 45?
