setting the blade block is supposed to be done with motor running. adjust untill small shavings seen in the waste box. please dont use method shown. you coukd overset the block and sieze the motor.

Ryobi products are bad, I have electric scissors and a chopper, both broke down quickly after the warranty expired. I do not recommend this company!
