Love how the white really makes everything pop! I have almost thrown out entire layouts before as well, but phoning a friend helps as well as coming back later with fresh eyes! Love the final results ❤❤

I was so surprised that you chose the blue striped paper & then the yellow as it is just not like you at all. I was trying to tell you to just cut off the top & bottom & stick the lot on a white base so when you finally did so I thought, ' now she is cooking with gas!!' That blue striped paper always reminds me of the French who wore it in their sailor shirts but it is certainly a paper that goes a long way as it should be used sparingly & strategically!! So the finished pages do look good but for me I would have used more flip flaps & less photos on the second page - it is a reminder of my cm days I think & I like borders around my photos. 😀 You certainly had a fun vacation!!

You are so right…this LO definitely veered from my style! I do wish I had mats around the photos. That’s another thing I thought of AFTER. 😂 I was stuck on following the sketch…which is also unusual for me…I usually just use it as a guide. I think my lesson is to not start a LO at midnight. 😂😂😂 At least I am much happier with it now than before the white strips. Thanks for your note!

Love the layout. I think you were right to use the yellow, then put the base on white. I do love the patterns from CTMH; I just wish the paper was a bit heavier. When I use it, I always frame my pages with a heavier weight paper.

Glad you liked it! I cut the paper in the white stripe just a little above the blue so you’s see the jagged edge 😊
