I suggested google maps to change the locations of three shops they only change the front store images it has been a long time i keep sending feedbacks but they havent changed yet i put the correct location and map marker

Make sure you're logged in with a Google email address, as Google will send an email when they've made the change. I'm a regular contributor to Maps with reviews including photos, so maybe that triggers a faster response? I did an address correction last week & it was changed w/I 5 days. (Not at this email tho). It varies. Sometimes it happens right away. Sometimes it never updates. I don't understand...

I'm not sure. I leave a lot of reviews and post lots of photos, so perhaps I have a "more trusted" account? Maybe you could try posting reviews and photos and then fix the location?

What to do if you've submitted a pin correction multiple times and it keeps saying its accepted but never actually changes?

In Google Maps in a Browser, you can see your contributions, then your edits. It should show was was accepted and what was not accepted. Assuming it shows as accepted, you can try posting to the google maps forum support.google.com/maps. One thing you might try is to be physically at the location where you're moving the pin. I guess Google takes that as a sign that your change is legit. Good luck! I know how you're feeling - I have a lot of unaccepted but necessary edits.

My home address shows the wrong pin location, parcel deliverers can't find my house and stuff gets shipped back to sender. Very inconvenient if that is China, you never see it back, or your money.. I've tried to change my home address numerous times now, and every time Google says my change has been accepted and it can take up to 24 hours to show on the map. However, the map never updates 😫 (this is costing me money and I should sue Google for that, but I do not live in the USA..) It's driving me mad... 😠

Sorry to hear this. I live part time in Mexico, and I use the address lines to describe my house (1 block behind the Oxxo, has yellow columns) and I include my phone number as the delivery people in Mexico will call if they can't find you.

Hi how would you fix a home address? Basically our home address is the same address but another city. So when I put my address or others they end up bring up the other city one…even when they provide our full address. It’s very frustrating.

What about when they have and extra block that looks like a house but it's not really there ? I have a corner house and my neighbor suggested an edit and made my pin show up at their house plus a block that just is not there

Can you advise - how to move the pin on a service area that has been changed (modified a few days ago)? On a UK-Based business but the pin is currently showing in South-East Germany. Or will Google Maps eventually update this.

@@kashimmiah4159 Yes - I 'think' the service area was too large - so reduced the service area (I can't recall to exactly what, but Google guidelines say "The boundaries of your overall area should not extend farther than about 2 hours of driving time from where your business")

Is your house a business? Normally residential homes don't show up in Google. And I have a pretty robust Google review history, so maybe they trust me more?

@@RaveMasterSRB I have a quite good experience with editing addresses in Google Maps and most of the addresses has the issue you got. The solution to get the right location is to control if the red pin in the map below the address field is at the correct location you want it to be at. You might have to adjust the pin to the correct location. Let me know how it goes
