Why does my Miele T8164p heat pump dryer keep saying “F4” it had a new sensor the other day and half way through it messed up saying F4 all the lights flashing and beeping. All my air ways are clear and clean always are bar after a load has finished… Would you have any ideas of what it could be ? It’s still getting hot but seems to overheat and cut out! As it’s always when it’s hot it won’t let me turn it back on!

After changing the brush (with original parts) for my Miele T8363, the moisture sensor seems not working properly anymore. Before replacement it will stop after a short time from turning on if the dryer is empty. The time drop from 53 minutes to 0 and stop in 1-2 minutes from starting. But after replacement it to drops to 32 minutes instead of 0 after starting when it is empty. The dryer still turning on even after 1 and half hour (instead of 53 minutes), and will not stop until I stopped it manually. The clothes was relatively hot and totally dry. Something strange happend after replacing the brushes [The noise problem is solved but automatic shut down not working anymore].

At the end of the arm that holds the brushes on there is a "pin" that twists then drops out...meaning you can replace just the carbon brushes, you just snip the wires at the join and crimp the new ones on. I have tonnes of long washing machine brushes I just drill a hole in the end of the long brush, fit them then hacksaw the rest of the length off. Grand total of zero, assuming you have spare washing machine brushes of course.

@@ultimate2368 Yes, the guy from miele service came and he have checked the dryer…. He said that is normal it is doesnt matter which model you buy the all are the same…. i am very unhappy with that, because it‘s annoying. Before that i had Beko for 400 euros very good and very quiet…

@@taherabu4063 the brushes are for it to sense the dryness of clothes if it’s not turning it’s usually a belt

Great video 😎👍 Worked fine om my miele heatpump dryer with a different model name. I just gave it a cuple drups of wood glue where the bands meed to fill out the gab, so the contacters dont bank when passing lige on a train rail. Stupid design by Miele 👎
