My massage chair is not returning to its upright position from zero gravity. When I turn on the power and select the massage mode, it starts to blink with the number 15 on the screen shortly after. Additionally, the rollers on the back do not operate, but the air massage for the hands and feet does work. Can you help me understand what the issue might be?

Hi, I just went into the back of my chair to see why it won't go down, the motor works and moves about an inch where it's at on the top, I'm gonna check out the zip ties for any broken wires in a little while, thanks for posting this video, I hope I can get the full run options working, thanks again 😊

Nice work!. Ive noticed that the zip ties are overtightened and that is causing more connection issues with the wiring harness. Im in the process of removing all zip ties and using velcro straps

January 2024 I have a titan oppo 3d and even though it's a different model this sure sounds like what the problem is, so I am going to check out the wire harness and see, thanks this was a very helpful post

I spent hours looking for this, thank you. Got mine delivered from a liquidator and it's vertical motor isn't working, the track refuses to go up. Everything else works, just stops when you try to make it go up and says it's at your neck even though it hasn't moved. Will look at wiring harness for a break

I tested from each end of the wiring harness and found wires to break in the zip tie that runs up and down. Cutting away this portion of covering I then spliced the bad wires and it worked another couple years. Having the error again so I'll be doing it again

Mine just required the power and the little timer clock button underneath to be pressed and now it works. The red light was blinking. I think it timed out or something. Had me stumped but all good now

@@Uneducatedcapitalista broken wire would be an open, not a short. A wire touching another conductor would be a short.

@@billmellater in my case I had 2 wires cut at the same area and they were touching. I had other wires that were cut but not touching other wires. So I have open wires and shorted wires

It's a problem in the wiring harness. They use the worse wires and then they zip tie it too tight.

@@Uneducatedcapitalist ok, so I cut the power and turned it back on the roller came on and it went all the way up and goes so I left it like that for about 29mins and that’s all it will do. Just stays there and still flashing 10mins

@@terryjohnston2231 Your going to have to start tracing the wires from the bottom plugs up to the motors and checking for wires that are pinched by the movement of the track or the zip ties

Maybe, or its an overheat problem. I get the 15 min beeping after using for over 30 minutes, but will work again if I power it off for 15 or more minutes.

I doubt it. Unplugging that machine can reset it. But it will go right back to it.

@@Uneducatedcapitalist Sorry, not saying that is your problem but a possibility for the "15 flashing" It seems that "15 flashing with beep" is a general message that there is a problem detected with the chair which covers any and all possible problems.

@@ronw.3115 When you reset the chair all the happens is the harness moves to another position and makes contact. Thats why the error happens less when you massage in the upright position

@@Uneducatedcapitalist I still think the 15m beep is a catch all error and mine is for a different reason. Chair only a week old from out of the box and only see error when I exceed 30 minutes of use. Does the chair give any other errors besides the 15m beep ????

@@ronw.3115 Not sure. I called and spoke to the manufacturer. The titans and osakis are made by the same company in china. just rebranded. The manufacturer wanted to replace the harness. Thats why I knew what the issue was

Thanks for the quick response.i figured out threw your vid that the motors on the side that raise and lower it was the problem af 4 hours of chasing wires,my wire cutters fell and hit one of them an jus like a starter on car that mf came on homes lol.

It usually is a issue in the wiring harness. they tied the zip ties to tight and as the rollers move they put stress on the wires and they have connection issues. Requires repair or a brand new wiring harness

If it works then dies constantly. Simply replace the transformer, when some exceeds their load (overheat) they will quit.

There are several transformers in that electrical box. this is a very random thing. sometimes it will work for weeks. then do it. but it usually happens as the roller is going up or down.
