Hi Alan, I just got the cyber pro 3 D chair yesterday from Costco, after we finished installing, the power button keep blinking red light, but nothing wrong with the function. Do you know if it should be fine for the light keep blinking like that even we do not sit on the chair?

From what I remember of that model, the light always blinks as long as you have the chair plugged in and the power button on. I think it's fine. dr. w.

Hi, Jeffery. Thanks for reaching out. I would have you call Osaki Titan at 888-848-2630 and have them send one out to you. dr. w.

hi Alan, I recently got the cyber 2.0 last week, the manual says i can combine the massage techniques just as you show in the video but mine simply won't do it. I've called tech support at Osaki and they say that the chairs they have in their showroom can't combine massage techniques like kneading and tapping when doing the customization. Is there a fix for this? They are looking into it and will call me tomorrow. But I'm contemplating just sending the chair back and getting a different one. I feel a $5,000 massage chair should be able to do something as simple as combining techniques especially when the manual as well as all of the online videos/their own website says it can. What should I do next if they say theres nothing they can do?

I also live about thirty minutes from their headquarters, and got this chair directly from them after visiting their showroom.

Hi, Chris Thanks for your comment. Although I don't have that model in my showroom anymore, I do remember being able to push the manual button and getting a different combination of modalities when I did. Your not combining the modalities yourself, you are just selecting already combined options. For example, one press of the button gives you kneading; another press of the button gives you tapping; yet another gives you kneading and tapping together. If I remember correctly there are other combinations as well. If the new 2.0 doesn't do that anymore, and you want to have it, you'll have to think seriously about returning it. But, I would be surprised if it didn't do those things. I hope this helps! dr. w.

well the 2.0 has a new touchscreen tablet but that, along with the upholstery are the only things that were updated from the original. If i could show a picture it would explain better because it's much more easy to use than the old remote control. The updated manual also says i can combine the massage functions. How it works is that you can choose kneading by itself and then there are options for other functions indecently, (shiatsu, swedish, tapping, etc.) and you should be able to combine kneading with three other functions by just clicking them. Also, my friend has an Osaki chair with the same updated tablet and his can combine the massage functions during the manual customization mode. If the chair is not operating as the manual says it should, would I still get a return shipping fee even if i wanted to try and get a different chair from them you think? Based on your own business what would you do? keep in mind I also live locally about 30 minutes down the road and originally got free white glove delivery because I live so close.

Chris, if there is a problem with the chair, Osaki's warranty will cover it. If you live within half an hour of Osaki's headquarters, they should definitely be able to send someone out to check out your chair. Give them a call and tell that the manual settings are not working. They can fix that under warranty. I don't know what their return policy is, so I can't say what it would cost you if you decide to return it. dr. w.
