Thanks for your video. I unplugged first, before watching your video. I unplugged the lead from the back of my tv for 2 secs, then changed the batteries before ordering a replacement on Amazon. OMG! it worked! I've been without my crappy solar remote for almost a week with no way to control my TV. Waiting on parts from my Samsung repair guy, next week. I dropped my remote many times but this time it dropped exceptionally hard and nothing on the remote worked. The buttons trick worked! Literally did not notice the Samsung Home button got stuck… until I tried this method. Couldn’t figure out why my TV wouldn’t even respond to pairing requests. Accidentally closed this video once I fixed this, so I HAD to come back for a thumbs up and a comment!

This worked for me ..Samsung's smart TVs come with smart remotes that sometimes require a factory reset. The reset is usually necessary if your remote stops working and replacing the batteries does not resolve the problem. Perform a factory reset for your Samsung TV remote by holding down the "B" and "C" keys on the remote until you see the remote light flash twice. Type in the code "981" to complete the reset. The TV remote can now be reprogrammed to your TV

Thanks heaps. Disconnected tv plug from wall socket, took out batteries and pushed every button a few (10) times each. Worked a charm. It was only the 'enter' button but I get it now. Dust and stuff buildup. Thanks again!

Thank you for the tips. The second one worked but then it stopped. I removed the batteries again and shot compressed air through several of the vents/holes where the batteries go. That seemed to fix the issue.
