How to fix a stuck Konica Autorex P camera

On mine everything works 100% as long as you let the advance lever go so it can spring back to it's original position. If you do it gently the camera will jam! I will give it a clean and oil under the bottom plate, should help things return a bit smoother. Thankyou for the video!

Hello, I have one of these cameras and watching your video I opened mine and had access to the film winding system, however, in my case the small horizontal bar does not remain in the "unlocked" position. When I use the screwdriver and move it, it moves smoothly, but if I release it, it returns to the "locked" position. Do you know of any other procedure to keep the small bar horizontal so that it does not block the film winder?

Which oil do you use. And you mentioned that you use 2 types. 1 more for the bottom of the camera.

do you know how to fix a non working frame counter? its stuck at S, moves a little when advancing film but jumps back to S

You need a light seal bumper on top of the counter trip. Enough to depress it. It is inside the film door.

Well I tried this and it still isn't working. The shutter won't fire. It looks to me like the black part that should pull back in the assembly closest to the lens isn't working.... Any ideas? It seem like it should snap over and hold it once the shutter button is depressed. It moves freely.

There are other things which can go wrong with theses cameras, the fix I mentioned was for the most common issue. Sometimes people may force the winding lever on a jammed camera, and this can cause other parts to bend or brake, it's hard to know what is wrong without a close look.

@@japanvintagecamera8869 Is the rewind button supposed to remain depressed after you press it? If so, how do I release it? And will it prevent the lever from advancing while it is depressed? Thanks in advance.
