This is exactly what I did, I ripped a hole using the sheep sheets and had to make a little patch to hot glue over! I trimmed it down a bit to much tho and didn’t put a weight on to compress it down. Works tho!

Hi, this is a great video. Just wondering do you know how many Oz the burlap you use is? I see 7,10 and 12 oz online, 7oz seems to be the most affordable, but I don't know if it will mean a poorer quality of rug compared to 10 and 12 oz.

Well this video was the old way I used to tuft. I was tufting to fast, meaning not enough yarn was going into the cloth. You may be doing it the correct way but moving your gun a little slower while tufting, which will put more yarn in the cloth to make the rug thicker

If you have the gun with the black trigger I’ve noticed that gun maybe too powerful for burlap

Try to do always straight lines...avoid diagonal, follow the lines of the fabric,horizontal or vertical, only do diagonal if can't be any other way...learn myself the hard way...even if is a short line rather go straight
