This is only a Temp Fix... All this means is your control arm is going bad, could already have surface errors or bad sectors on the hard drive from it damaging the platter. Best to get a new hard drive as it's going bad. TEMP FIX: Temp fix is unplug everything, turn on xbox see no e68 error, turn off xbox, then plug back in your hard drive to reset the control arm and it should work for a little while until it dies. HOW TO FIX: Get a different new or used hard drive. Backup the E68 error drive, then toss it in the garbage!

Just delete all your stuff and licence transfer it. Simple as that. I have the same problem. Or had the same problem. I formatted my hardrive then downloaded my account. Then went to account and licence transfer. Keep pressing A and wen the list pops up download all one by one. There is a limit to how many pending downloads tho. But u can wait and download more.

dude Everytime I turn on my Xbox it says there is an update for Xbox and whenever I press yes to update it, it says I don't have enough storage to update it when my hardrive is plugged in and it's a 250G hardrive

Ok so i have a corrupted hard drive as well it got corrupted in febuary or march and when i turn on my xbox it stays on the loading screen jntil i take the hard drive out idk how to get the corruption out idk if it will delete all my saves and games off of it or i will get everything back

Dominic Guyton Found a way to play corrupt games: 1. take out the hard drive 2. get a usb drive and put it in the controller slot 3. make a new profile 4. you are ready to play that game that was corrupt.

Some cases, yes. Some consoles operating system is in the hdd than embedded flash memory. It is important to know that if the hdd is failing. Chances from slim to nothing, the xbox will become useless.

Yes. As long as the xbox can read it. I have hdd case for mine. I formatted my new ssd drive by 2.5 enclosure 3.0 usb. Add it the hdd case for xbox 360 pro. The hdd case can still be read but won't show drive. Dunno from there. Otherwise, it depends on what size usb you want.

ok, so let me just go ahead and tell you this.I have this problem also. but why mine does this. got nothing 2 do with my 250 gb harddrive. it is because of my xbox (if u buy a new harddrive and use the new one and it stills goes on. you need to ) get your hard drive (drive in the xbox hardware) 2 be repaired it can't save or read right. so when that happens it corrupts the hard drive system cach then other files that u have saved. (lighting hit my xbox taking out 1 part of my xbox..) now some people say it can be your power brick not giving ur system not enough power (highly unlikly) but something 2 look at hope this helps

hey people if ur still having trouble with this. i found out why this really happens. OK so most the time this happens when your hard drive is a fake Microsoft hard drive. Yup u probably have knock off hard drive. If ur hard drive its not a knock off take it to game stop and replace it for free! they have a new policy with Microsoft so where u can do so! i hope this helps ^.^

When the disk drive says "unformatted" either if you have connected it to a PC or to the xbox itself,it means the file system isnt a really valid one, it might be a corrupted RAW file system or NTFS
