Nice video..short & simple. In my case (98 12V 2500) the whole bolt assy came out as one, IE the bolt came out of the pumpkin instead of the nuts breaking free. I would add a step to what you outlined for cleaning the top of the pumpkin prior to removing the sensor so all that road crud doesn't fall inside. I used a 6" wire brush to break free all the road grime and some air (canned or compressor) prior to removing the sensor. Especially important since I just flushed all of the old oil and just put new oil in.

Glad It helped. The light came back on the truck and I readjust my brake light switch and that eliminated the light

I got a 98 dodge 5.924 valve had the exact same issue ABS light on and brake light on and doing this fixed it thanks for the info.

The sensor comes out easier if you twist before trying to pry it out.

Gonna have to try this. I had a used control module put on a year ago on 2001 for 500 and the light came on this week again. I only this thing less than 1,000 miles a year. Don't want to spend another ton on it. Only have 113,000 miles on the truck with my diesel.

My light came back again. I adjusted my brake light switch. Now it's gone. Make sure the brake light switch is adjusted good

They work fine 99% of the time act like they have air in the lines maybe 1 time in 1k miles and it does leak fluid somewhere just a lil

Was your light just on or was it acting funny. My light is on and my rear brakes lock up before the front. On rainy days if I’m not careful rear tires lock and slide.

I did this on my 2002 3500 and it still has the light on? Did NOT work,what else should I try? any ideas?

Get a abs scanner and get the code or ground out the proper pin on your obd and get the blink code. My light came back and I readjusted my brake switch and it went away. The light would only come on at like 40mph. Or you could ohm from 1 end to the speed sensor to make sure their is no breaks in the circuit

I had the same light on on my 2001 2500. I had 1 abs line that was cut near where it goes into the hub bearing the other one was hanging on by a thread also near where it goes into the hub bearing

Get the abs code to see what the problem is. A abs scanner or grounding out the pin on the obd 2 port
