How To Fix Add Friend Not Showing On Facebook

Mine only gives option to follow me, even though my setting is that everyone can request me. I only have around 300 friends, so, far from the 5k limit. And the person trying to add me has never tried before so not an issue with repeat add/unfriending. Any other ideas?

Hi. My issue is I can’t search for a friend in my friends list. When I put in any name it say ‘ No friends to show’. My friends list does show alphabetically but I can not search for a friend, I have to scroll down manually until I get to their name. Everyone can see my friends list, I have uninstalled and turned off phone, it’s updated and still no change. What do you suggest? Thank you, Emily

This video did not help me what so ever. So my husband and I are friends on Facebook, connected on Facebook, but every time he clicked on my profile, it wouldn’t show my cover photo, any of my friends, or any of my pictures I had put up. I went through everything on trying to change my privacy seeing if it was blocked, nothing worked, and then I realized maybe if I sent him a message Then everything became visible. You guys have to send the person a message. They need to open the message then just click on profile. Should be visible.

Anyone ever have issues not being able to see all people’s profile posts or even able to click on their profile picture to make sure you’re requesting the right person for a friend? It says I have to add them as a friend to see their info? Nobody else I talk too, seems to me having the same issues

Maybe your account restricted from Facebook, because spam, Facebook stops your actions by deleting the friend request

so i can't see posts or even search my girlfriends name on facebook but we are already friends. so to be more clear when i search her name nothing pops up and to add her has the person i am in a relationship with and i type her name nothing comes up. and again we are friends with eachother. she can search my name and set me as the person she is in a relationship with and have no troubles.

I can see my friend when I go to my friend list but I cannot see them when I want to add them to a group. They are even marked in my close friend list. Everything I search for in settings does not exclude them in any way shape or form. I even unfriended them and added them again no luck. They unfriended me and added me again no luck. We have both logged out and back in, no luck.

I only use "partially facebook", on my laptop, never on my phone. So hear my problem, [all these is good, on your video, but you need 2 make something 4 people who use that social network on their laptop]. (4) some unknown reason, the bottom [add friend] on my laptop, is dead long time now. other factors your friend request was deleted by facebook because your friend request was considered spam by facebook

there is no way to do that other than waiting 1 year or creating a new account, in which case you can appeal to Facebook if you feel that you did not violate the Community Standards
