Also, one trick I notice is, to know if the person rejected your friend requests (in addition, prevented you from sending another one) is by looking into your Activity Log>Friends>Sent Friend's Requests. If your request is gone, it is more likely that the person rejected you. Same goes to if someone blocked or unfriend you, they will be gone from Received Friend Requests and/or Sent Friend Requests log.

They thought that if it is gone in the digital history such as in the Friend's Request list, a person might thought it never happen. Well, human have brain, of course they remembered if they send requests. I also emphasised on screenshot and screen record your activity for future arguments with Facebook or the people that rejected your friend requests. Peace .V.

If someone rejected your friends requests, there is a possibility that the add button will be available after some period of time (6months-1year since it was rejected) or either the person unblock you or some sort haha. However, the add button will be inside the person's profile and not from the search page (add button will still be unavailable) *this is only based on my experience, I am not sure if it is a bug or technical issues, as there is no answer on this matter from FB side.

Someone who rejected my friend requests earlier this year, I found out recently that the add button appear in his profile after almost a year. So I guess there might be an expiration date or so for rejected friend requests. Although, in my case, it does not reach a full year. Also, the add button might be missing from the search page, but it is available when you entered the person profile.
