If able to make calls but unable to receive calls, this should be for you 👉 I had the same problem but called the customer service center of my SIM. They gave me a code to disable 'call forwading'. I disabled it, restarted my phone, and it was able to receive calls again. So, for me, call forwarding was the culprit. You can try calling your customer service center to see if they can help with your problem!

@@richardpotorski6601 I contacted my cell phone service provider and asked them to check if the phone number, which appeared to be an old recycled number, judging by the area code, is having some problem with it. First two people I spoke with, told me that they verified the number and it is working okay. But I explained that when I tried to call my brand new Samsung from any other phone, the Samsung would not produce a ring and eventually I would reach a voice mail that gave me a recorded message that said: "The ROGERS customer you have reached, has not activated their voice mail". My service provider is NOT Rogers. So when I called my service provided again, and explained this to the third person, they looked a bit deeper into it and discovered that the number was not fully cancelled and therefore was not ready for reuse. My service provider assigned and activated a new number and agreed to give me one month credit. No more problems.

I was told the same , so I went to the att store they inspected my phone they put it in a mode where 3 different bar code came up so with the IME number and the info they got from the bar codes they determined that my phone was a 3g phone and would not work with a new sims card, but before I went to that store I had a conversation with att rep over the phone and they scheduled to mail me out a new sims card , so I'm waiting on that to determine my fate

Samsung galaxy s7 texting works wifi works internet works. What is happening phone shows bars and lte wit wifi off.But when you try to call out the phone service bars and lte disappear after dialing starts and then the call is shortly dropped and the bars and lte come back.
