What a legend I was worried I spent $40 on a new Bluetooth 5.1 dual with WiFi 6 for nothing and was thinking of buying a new motherboard Bc I didn’t know if mine supported bluetooth. If it doesn't work, I'd recommend buying a Bluetooth external adapter. I got one for 13£, and helped me connect my Bluetooth earphones.

If what is in the video doesn't work then right click the start menu, select device manager, and uninstall Bluetooth drivers, if you can't find them then click on view near the top and select show hidden devices, you might find it now, and then restart your PC. If you have an external bluetooth device you can also find the bluetooth drivers online on the product site and attempt to update using that. Good luck.

For the Device Manager/Bluetooth related services solution, my computer said that the Parameter is incorrect for for the 3rd one. But on the 1st and 2nd ones, they were already on Automatic, plus, the "Apply" button was grayed for them on my computer. Therefore, that didn't work. Also, I tried the Troubleshoot option, but that didn't work either. And finally, the Update Driver solution didn't work for me either because all of mine had already had updated drivers. However, sometimes I think that computer is bugged. 😕 Also, you said that those were some of the solutions, therefore, what are the others?

The Services process worked! I finger fumbled and accidentally turned off Bluetooth and it was gone! I tried installing drivers, going to device manager, and multiple other recommended solutions. I was able to set two of the Bluetooth services to “automatic” and “start,” but the last of the three couldn’t be changed (something about “parameters”). I restarted and prepared to work on the last service, but Bluetooth was back and working perfectly. Thanks!!!

For anyone still struggling, go to windows update > view optional updates (under check for updates button) > expand driver updates > select Broadcom Bluetooth > download and install. If that option doesn't show, then download the Broadcom Bluetooth .cab file from the Microsoft Update Catalog - just type 'broadcom bluetooth driver' in google and it'll be in the top few results. Restart and try the above again

Try unplugging your computer, if you have a laptop take out the battery. Press the power button on and off over and over again for 15-30 seconds. Then plug your computer back in/put the battery back in and turn it on. Worked for me; often works to 'reset' electronics.

if Bluetooth says: device does not have Bluetooth, power off pc by holding the power button, disconnect the charger(and if possible battery), and leave the pc turned off without power source for anywhere up to 2.5 minutes(best 2 minutes) then turn on PC WITHOUT connecting charging cable(yes battery) and turn on Bluetooth, which should appear now. Then connect the charger. after that, you should have no problems. Hope I could help ;) PS: like so everyone can see how to fix it.

Thank you for this - I have an additional fix to add too... my PC Bluetooth randomly stopped working on a conference call and I tried all the steps in this video and it still didnt work, so I came to the conclusion that it was a hardware issue. I managed to fix it simply by turning off and unplugging my PC overnight. Apparently it's an issue with static caused by unshielded USBs being plugged in. Turned it on this morning and after a few moments the Bluetooth icon reappeared and I was able to turn BT on an off again.

if Bluetooth says: device does not have Bluetooth, power off pc by holding the power button, disconnect the charger(and if possible battery), and leave the pc turned off without power source for anywhere up to 2.5 minutes(best 2 minutes) then turn on PC WITHOUT connecting charging cable(yes battery) and turn on Bluetooth, which should appear now. Then connect the charger. after that, you should have no problems. Hope I could help ;) PS: like so everyone can see how to fix it.

it did the same to me but i made sure to do it for all three, and i canceled "the parameter incorrect" i restarted it and my Bluetooth is back on .

Going into services worked. I just needed to start my last Bluetooth option. I did get a "parameter is incorrect error" but it still started it back up. Thank you!!!

First one is the only one I had not tried yet, but sadly it did not work as in the video. I was able to select automatic initialization only for one of the services. The other two give an error message saying "incorrect parameter"... Still stuck...
