UPDATE: 3 months later - problem solved -> it was leaky filter cap!

@@NewRoad I went with an aluminum cap only because plastic tends to warp. Unsure if that happened to me but we shall see as I will provide an update next week.

No, unless it is time for oil change. You will need to check if you have proper level.

Not necessary to change oil, just remove oil filter cap slowly, there will be a lot of oil dripping. I might recommend pig skin cloth to protect surrounding components like alternator, etc.

Fixed my leak from the Oil filter cap by only changing the oil filter and the oil filter cap gaskets. Definitely tried before ordering a replacement cap! Thanks.

Could not tell what gap you were talking about - I could only see a small scratch in the o-ring. Did you need a new cap or just a new o-ring?

When you buy the oil filter, it should come with a o ring for the cap. That’s the issue.
