My cbr1000sp is doing something very similar. Not nearly as prevalent as yours, its only at very high rpms and might stutter like that twice until i switch gears. I wonder if its the same issue. Do you think it could be the same issue? As an electrician, if there was a wire getting chewed up you'd think it would be a ocnstant issue and doesnt care what my RPM is?

Hey Errin, I have an 08 too. What did you find? I'm having some serious issues all of a sudden. Gonna go have a look at those wires now. update: just checked those wires behind fans, they are fine. Gonna watch a video on getting at spark plugs. I'm more suspicious of one of the ignition coils. Will check both plugs and coils by cranking engine with plug against the block and observe spark. Not gonna mess with it right now...Won't even start, sorta tries to kick over, but won't.

Hey brother, I ended up having some water in my gas tank. I have a bottle of HEET under my passenger seat now, just in case for the future. I replaced a lot of parts, including the fuel pump. Thanks for responding.

Im having the same problem but on first gear only it hesitates when trying to take off quickly already changed fuel pump coils injectors spark plugs throttle body tps cam shaft sensor done guessing on parts also changed main harness

This happened to me on a Trackday mid corner! Nearly came off. Seems to be coming a common fault. Out of interest did you have a QS connected? I wonder whether the original wiring is getting damaged because it’s not in the correct position after QS install

Mine does it in the higher RPMs but not dramatic like yours. Just doesn’t feel like i can hit full throttle. Just feels like every time i get to the high RPMS it just doesn’t wanna fully go. I also noticed the gas light turn on and then turn off ? Maybe it’s not getting enough fuel in there. (Fuel pump problem)

Mine bogs at low rpm but mines a 600 did sparkplugs and air filter haven't checked fuel filter or wires but after I hit 5k rpm it takes off but from 1 to 4.5k it's bogging

@@badboyzgamingbadboyzgaming sorry to hear that and thanks for replying. I’m sure that’s what mine is then. Mine cranks up and sounds fine for a second and then starts idling rough and drops down on rpm till it eventually dies. If I twist the throttle all the way it just bounces back and fourth between 2-3k rpm and if it makes it to around 5k rpm it takes off. Is that exactly what yours did? Also were you still able to hear the fuel pump because I can still hear mine priming. Sorry for all of the questions I’ve been trying everything and can’t figure it out.

Hey Doug, so it was not the wires issue and now I’m going to replace the CMP sensor(it’s between spark plugs 2&3) and i hope it will solve the problem.

I just now saw this, I didn't get a notification. Yeah, the CMP sensor is for the camshaft. Less than $60 for a new one. I replaced mine during the process of throwing parts at my bike. What did you find out, maybe it can help Arsalan.

@@doug2993 no problem! I didn't find out anything whats causing this problem. I've replaced a battery, plugs and ecu. But there's still this problem, I'd also record a video and want to share it with you maybe it could be helpful for me. I just dont want to waste your time sir.

A pinched fuel line? You cannot pinch a fuel pump.Either way that wouldn't make sense a pinched fuel line will shut the bike down. Any bike without a manual idle adjustment means you have to adjust the Throttle Position Sensor. I put new spark plugs in and for like 5 seconds the bike ran great then it bottomed back to the same issue. Throttle Position. I have a 2013 GSXR 1000 and it has no idle adjustment at the clip on, nor can you adjust it under the tank, it is not adjustable at the throttle pulley and the cable screws are not adjustable. There is no space to get a tool in on newer bikes so obviously certain manufacturers did that on purpose. Manufacturers seem to hate when we can tinker and fix our own bikes so they have added sensors to fail so that the bike makes money through aftermarket parts and dealership servicing.
