Mine is damaged on the screen side. Wondering how easy it will be to do? There are no videos of repairs on that side

@ loved it! Helped me changed the lens on mine in under 30 minutes! 50 bucks and half and hour and it’s back in business 🫡

why does it lose its underwater capacity?
@Suroysulat2 күн бұрын
I’m not 100% sure on this but I noticed that when I’m changing the lens, there is no rubber seal around the lens. So if I couldn’t adequately screw it back, then potentially water can come. Also, there is only a tiny rubber seal around the back cover as I have said in the video so if someone doesn’t position it right to outline the back then it might not properly seal

Not everyone should do this, if you are not known to circuit changes/modification, avoid these kind of diy. it is very risky, it will damage your cam permanently

second that. However it is worth the risk if your Insta 360 camera is over 2-3 years old. These cameras aren’t meant to last and built to be disposable. Just like iphones, it is manufactured in such a way that it should be thrown out and replaced after a set number of use. Companies do this so you keep buying and buying their products every year for their profit and this is environmentally concerning. If you watch “Buy Now! The Shopping Conspiracy” on netflix, you would understand this.

Well, yeah, but when the lens is scratched up or cracked and the video is unusably bad, what's the downside of trying?
