You just saved me about $120 to $130 with this tutorial! I cannot thank you enough for sharing this with those who have this machine!

I can't see what your doing. Please please remake your video with more light so I can follow along to properly fix my timing. It would be so appreciated. Thanks for trying.

Do nooot unscrew the one directly behind the needle area. It will move the entire needle thing and mess it up. It doesn't need to come off to take off the cover. Also the little screw at the bottom inside one of the round feet. Doesn't need to come out. Also the top that holds part of the thread doesn't need to come out in order to take off the cover. Had to reposition the needle for 10 minutes after messing with it.

Omg!! Thank you for this. I removed the one you are talking about. That explains why my needle bar is about an inch away from where it should be. I could not figure it out. Now, how do I fix? Lol.

Just done the same mistake. This machine is so different from all others I own, and fixing it is a nightmare. After screwing that one on the back now I have a problem with bobbin case jumping out, and can't figure out what just happened, as I have not messed with the bottom of the machine. Simple machine but not so simple at all

May be you could have used a torch light so that the position of needle can be seen properly in this video. Though this is very information. Thanks for sharing.

Same issue I'm having. We're you able to remove it?

Late to the party but I’m going to leave this here in case it helps someone! I spent a good hour trying to remove it, turns out don’t even have to and it messes with the position of the needle if you fiddle with it too much. You have to remove the screws shown(besides that one) and pop off the knob with the stitch selector. I just used a screwdriver and wedged it under the knob and it comes right off.

I bet you still had bunched stitching. You can't just time one part. There are 3 timing marks on the machine. Then you also have to set the distance between the needle and the hook.

@@rachj1398 Consumer machines make me a good income. You should always buy used industrial sewing machines. I had a Brother CS4000 in today. Don't know how the belt managed to skip a tooth on the gear. But not too much damage. New bobbin case, needle and timing and bent bracket for the spring stop for the bobbin case.
