Thank you so much! I got fallout 76 today and piped the disc in. When it finished copying, the update didn’t install, so I cancelled the update and reset my ps5. When it turned back on, none of my games updated, even when I checked for updates! After about an hour or two, I found this video. I watched it and did the WiFi DNS settings and stuff, and it work! I had the problem with Spider-Man 2. I synched the data (cloud and console) and then the download was added to the downloads. Maybe that works for the people having trouble with updates ✌🏻

I know you probably don’t have time for this, but I want to try anyways. Solving this specific issue might be interesting. I’ve tried a bunch of things and still haven’t cracked it. My PSN account had PS Plus a while ago, my account had shared benefits of PS Plus with all other PS accounts (brothers) in my PS5. My brother accidentally bought PS Plus subscription in his account right after mine expired. Now his account has PS Plus and mine doesn’t (obviously, why would we pay for two accounts on the same PS5). The issue is none of our accounts can download games (locked) bought when 1) my account had PS Plus and 2) when his account did not have PS Plus How can we fix this?

If its on your account then you have to buy it on your account and vise versa so if your brother's account is not the primary PS5 just make his account the primary PS5 and that should fix it

thank you for all the help why Sony allows us to happen is beyond me so you don't need to go through the entire process you went through. I simply went and type in the password after doing a scan for Internet restarted my PlayStation five, and I was connected to the Internet, and now I can play call of duty, it already showed that I had two updates that were properly download it and never said failed so I suggest trying that first affects sleeve for people they don't feel confident screwing around with the Internet in their box

I went to google and it said you need to turn off your PS5 and one the power button in front of the PS5, hold it until it beeps then it’ll take you to the safe mode. When you go to the safe mode, you gotta rebuild your data base and it should be good after that. I haven’t done it just yet. I Will tomorrow for sure and see what happens

Don’t forget you can move games from your SDD to your M.2 freeing all of the space on your SDD so the updates can be installed. Way easy.
