I had the exact same issue, same sound and everything. We changed the serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulley and the noise was still there. We'll try to replace the oil separator thank you for this video!

welcome sir.. we don't change the oilscreen filter but if you wish to do so it's better. we still trying to find what's exactly the problem was on that video and we luckily solve by only replacing oil separator.☺️

The main reason sir probably because of oil clog or oil builds up on it. And also due to normal usage.

Should have also inspected the turbo oil feed screen while you re there . With all parts removed from the engine valley. They tend to get clogged by time on s8, rs6 n rs7 too. Screen Relocation kit helps in long term as it provides easy access to clean screen every alternating service or so, risk is turbo damage due to oil starvation. saves the turbo bearings down the road. Inspect, Read about it. Oil separator change was recommended on 4.0T ... Now looks like this is one reason .

hello sir, we don't know the exact price for that oil separator unit because the customer provided that spare parts and he just ordered it online that time. The labor charge cost him around 1200Qr.
