This works if the tile is the same color all the way through like this tile. But if the tile is a light colored glaze, with a terracotta color base, then rubbing the chip smooth exposes the dark color which can show through. Also some porcelain tiles are so hard, the sanding stone doesn't do anything to it. Just grinds a line in the stone.

Just Rubbing down with a wet diamond pad it will hide the chip round the edges with make look like chamfered edge 👍

What's the approx. granulation on this sharpener? Surely any product with the same grit can do the job?

Any sanding stone would work. Sometimes they are two grits which is nice.

Just get a variable speed grinder with diamond polishing pads. Works way better

Great tip! This may work for people that don’t have that tool but if they do, power tools are definitely the way!
