Acorn 130, everything is working, but will not charge. Batteries are good, and shows c1. Will not charge at the charging points! Shows voltage at the power switch and at the charging points. Is there a fuse that operates this? Please help,

Help my mother's chair is stuck, how do you use the winding handle( where to you put the handle)?

Watch this video again as I think you just unscrew that compartment he showed on the video and the winding handle is already inside there. I wondered and am going to check mine tomorrow to see if it has a winding handle. If you have a Harmar Summit lift which appeared to be the one in the video, call Harmar direct as they were very helpful to me on the phone when we first got our unit.

my dad has superglide 120 but it wont go from left to right.

the brake is jammed on the chair and it is stuck in place haw can I free it.

craig nelson move the foot safety switch left to right and if that doesn't work do the same with the chair

the mice are the wires into on the chair lift..we replaced the wires and we don't know where the other end goes

The poster is the Marketing company trying to sell lifts and using KZbin to gain added Marketing of their name and brand. I have many customers who were sold these units and constantly have to pull up on the cable to reset the slack safety. Buying a better quality lift will help assure less troubles.

I got an all-electric (no battery) Harmar Summit chair sold by an Ameriglide vendor. I think it's a very good quality stairlift and has given us very few problems. Would you disagree, as it seemed to be a Harmar Summit chair?

Why would you want to have to keep fixing this problem? It would seem to be a big enough problem that they had to post the fix so customers would not keep calling. Why not just buy a better quality system that does not have to be reset after every other run?

Mine has never had to be reset, just adjusted once as the installer forgot to leave a bit of space at the top as shown in this video. That piece has never needed adjustment since he moved it 1/2-inch away as this video recommended and we've had our lift for a year now with pretty heavy use.

Never buy a stairlift that uses cables. These things have killed pets, taken fingers off, and have sent old ladies out the window during failures.

We're very pleased with ours. I think you;re unnecessarily scaring folks. If there's a problem with one with a cable, it simply stops and doesn't "throw" anyone anywhere!
