Even after increasing the tension the string still wont full retract after launching a bey. I have no idea what the problem could be. Did I add too much tension?

To be honest, I've never replaced the string before. Doing so could be against competition rules, and using the wrong string might damage the mechanism, or posing a safety hazard. I usually opt for a new launcher instead. However, I keep the old one as spare parts may come in handy in the future.
