Instructions from a "dirty" machine shows the person has actually used it. I see so many instructions from people with BRAND NEW machines and I have my doubts....maybe it's new; maybe they are a noob. Usually the latter. Any way thanks. Planning to add the Mark 7 and the "snap" and spill can no longer be mitigated with my finger as i set the projectile on the brass for seating. I learned a few things. Thanks.

No problem; 15,000 rounds later, 650 is still working fine. I lose about 1 or 2 individual granules of powder every so often, but its nothing like the 1/4 of a charge I lost with each cycle when I bought the machine.

unadulterated spring with a 9mm ball bearing works fine for me. standard size bearing is 9.5mm

All of these issues can be resolved with proper alignment and tension settings. With practice you’ll get the hang of it.

can you make a video of how to do it?

At the time this video was made Dillon had made the 650 for 20+ years with detent spring that spilled powder in many cases. If the 650 was Red, Green, or the other Red people would be posting about how they beat it off their bench with a hammer, used it for a boat anchor and bought a Dillon.

Is there a particular Nerf gun I need to get and do I have to go NFA3 or does it just require an FFL transfer?

Dillon told me to cut a little off that spring, it worked fine even if not perfectly.

Hey guys - I'm having issues getting my 9mm cases to seat property in station #1. Each time I advance the arm, the case is pushed into the shell plate, but it doesn't quite seat all the way in, and as I stroke the arm again, the case catches slightly on the decapping die...Can anyone provide me a solution? I had the powder spill issue, and thanks to this video, I resolved that problem...Please help, I'm tired of using my finger to ensure its seated in property. ..Singed, My Aching finger!

Hey mate, there is a timing rod behind the case magazine; adjust this up to allow the plastic ramp to push in your cases a little further. If you thread it too far up though, the case will reach the shell plate before it has rotated into position and it will snap into place, spilling powder. I have mine adjusted so that it seats a case properly provided I push the handle forwards to prime a case... If I don't, the case catches the decapping die. But I also don't have any powder spill.

Good information but so hard on the eyes. When you get one that is out of focus delete it and start over.
