I tried everything but nothing worked then I realized the disk wasn’t clean on the sides which is something you miss sometimes, because of the way you hold the disk your handprints get all over the sides so try reflecting the disk off some light to be sure then clean it really well and that should help

Legend you are just for space marines 2 the way I took it out had a big thumb print on it I’ve watched loads of videos then saw your comment and had a look at the disc 😭😭 cleaned it and it worked

If you tried all things possible, the disc is probably old. I’ve tried the inFAMOUS Second Son disc version which I bought in 2019, and I decided to revisit the game, and I noticed that it gave me this error code. I’ve tried this with all my newest discs and they all worked perfectly fine. If you have a disc game for many years and you notice it gives you the same error code, it might be time to get a copy of the same game or, just buy it digitally from the PlayStation store. If you’re trying to avoid this problem in the future many years from now with your other disc games that work right now, never delete that game on the system. This will allow you to keep playing the same old disc game you still have on your console without worrying about an error code. Hope this helps.

Delete the game. You then need to reinsert the disc to install it again. It clearly is a disc reading software bug that Sony still hasn't fixed.

Enter the PS5s BIOS by holding down the power button on boot, then plugging in a DS4 or DualSense then choose "Delete Cache" or whichever named option that is.

OK what do I do if it STILL isn't working after these fixes? Trying to get Miles Morales on, and it is consistently stuck at 71%. Absolutely nothing is working for it. All other games have worked with no issue. The game is brand new, the PS5 is brand new. All suggestions you've given haven't worked for this single game. I can’t get my Mass Effect Legendary edition to download. Just took the seal off the case and put the data disc in and it stops downloading around 7GB. The disc continuously stops and starts spinning again over and over and no progress is made and then eventually I get an error code. None of these fixes have worked for me so far.

dead island 2 gets stuck at 19300MB 6 seconds before the end. factory reset didn't help and neither did any other tricks... on another ps5 the game works.. as if I have a broken drive but other discs work :(
