How to fix f150 sync/ Bluetooth radio | wont connect

Having problems with 2009-2014 f150 Bluetooth sync radio won't connect your phone anymore. well I found the answer, on how to hard reset your radio system.

This worked just as you said. Thanks so much for the video. I have a 2011 F150. After I did this, I did a master reset on the Bluetooth, everything works as it should. Saved me much money im sure. Now I don't have to take it to the dealership.

Make sure to read your manual guys. He lead me to the panel but mine was a different fuse (slot9) with the number 10. Definitely fixed the problem thanks dude

It is Fuse#13 (a 5amp) on a 2009 F150. Same fix works. Have done it 3 times and not sure why i don't remember to do this before jumping to conclusions that SYNC is kaput . Sometimes necessary when you swap out a dead battery.

This has been driving me nuts the past few days and I really didn't want to have to factory reset the sync system... this did the trick on my 2015 f150 thanks! Slight difference with 2015 the same fuse box location but different layout. It was a 10A fuse in slot #32 found in owners manual.

It's a temporary fix. At least on my 13. It's loosing sync connection every 3 or 4 days. I'm either going to replace the unit or upgrade to 12.1 sync 2

My 2011 f150 platinum says my phone is connected but when I play music it doesn’t play through they speakers it plays through my phone even though it says connected should I still try this?

When this happens if I go to my phone and hit connect to the f150 Bluetooth from there it generally kicks it to the stereo speakers. If not then I disconnect Bluetooth and reconnect. Generally works then. Kind of buggy.

I’ve pulled the fuse out and put it back in and now the truck won’t find the phone and when it does it doesn’t show a code and when the code appears in won’t show in my Bluetooth setting any help?

Try to disconnect battery ( to force the system to hard reset) keep the fuse out for 1min with the truck off

Make sure you turn the truck off and for about 1 minute
