It's not to use that little hidden speedo as the primary driving indicator, the point of this vid is its THERE and you can access it if you want. the fact it resets everytime you turn off the truck is a huge fail on ford's part. These F150s drive incredible for trucks but both screens on the 11-14 f150s are useless and pointless

Mine only resets if you preset the reset button and hold it. I haven't reset mine in months

You don’t have do all that crap just press the ok button right before you crank it and hold it a split second after it’s running and it will go to center gage mode and then you can pick which ever one you want. It’s really not that technical. Once it cranks you will see your speedometer will go to top speed and then flop back to 0 and you are good to go

You can get an aftermarket 2-din radio with i-datalink and it will show a lot of these gauges, including speedometer.

Use the reset button. I was able to get it on a 2013 with out the ok button on the wheel. Just use reset and keep cycling reset until vehicle speed is displayed
