Hi guys. In this video, we will you guys how to tell you guys how to fix the problem that you have high RAM or Memory Usage on your PC. Sometimes, your memory may reach a peak of 99 percent or 98 percent or any high ninety-ish figure. This video is a long one because we covered all the important parts and all the available software solutions for this RAM/Memory problem. This should work on all windows: XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and obviously Windows 10. These are the quickest and simplest ways to solve this problem.
Please note that if these solutions didn't work then try resetting your PC/Laptop and reinstalling Windows 10. Otherwise, it may be a hardware issue so go to a technician to get this problem fixed.

regedit been around since windows 95 if not mistaken, people just became expert at editing the OS settings and newer versions still share same tree for most things, after all windows 10/11 is just an updated version of the core windows program.... Hoping someday Linux or any other OS can take on Windows, because we all know is just pure crap and slows down your system with crap stuck on your memory. Phones OS are the same, they self destroy with memory leaks and enforce people to buy a new one when they just can't handle the newer versions (software forcing people to upgrade the hardware as a plan of obsolesce ) I can't afford apple products and don't even recommend them, but wonder how long can they endure without the need to fix/reinstall the OS to improve/solve performance issues.

@@nigelphillips7454 Depends on what you are running. If you are running high-memory intensive programs, then your pc will run slower because your pc has to constantly swap data in and out of RAM. If you are running low-memory intensive programs, your pc should run as normal.

Did all the things in this video except defragmentation (as it's taking a while, and I plan on continuing on it when I have time.)I can definitely confirm it does work! Memory usage dropped by 20% to even 30%! @@rob1yt6 FPS is usually affected by how many tabs you have open and how much memory you have left on your pc. Try removing some things and only keep Fortnite on to fix that. Also, turn down post-processing and disable the FPS counter while in-game. That helps too!

If none of those solutions work, you should lower the maximum dynamic memory in Microsoft Hyper-V or completely disable this feature in "Windows Features". This is specially for Windows 10/11 Pro and higher users.

Thanks I found out that the Opera browser was running in the background all the time (though I never use it). So, I just turned off that background option and now my pc is fine.

I did everything in the video up to 6:45 and restarted my computer and nothing worked anymore 😑 I figured out that in the process of doing all this, all my drivers got deleted for pretty much everything. I couldn't even open brave browser, I had to download and pay $25 USD for drivereasy to re download and install every driver that the computer normally comes with when you buy it. there is a free option but it purposefully slows down your dowloads by like 99% of your usual download speeds so it was gonna take a couple of days of doing each driver one by one. sorry for the rant but be careful guys.

just a heads up Changing "Start" value: Setting it to 4 disables the NDU service entirely. This means no automatic driver updates will occur, leaving you vulnerable to outdated drivers with security risks and performance issues. He did not go into detail as to what this was actually doing when changing from 2 to 4 so t thought I would elaborate a bit.
