I have exactly same problem. It is within Dell one year warranty. Technician came and repaired it and told me not to open the laptop over 90 degree. It is not designed to open that much.

I shall never, ever buy Dell computers again. I has cost us a fortune in time and money. They are simply not worth the hastle. Dell does not live up to its reputation. Dell tell to repair whole screen , it cost ₹7200/- And if only hinges and back part ₹4200/- But mostly hinges are connected to that with that back screen so it costs for both to together
