Don't buy this model 3511. I purchased two years ago and twice faced this problem. First time it is warranty so replaced free of cost. But second time they gave me a 6500 quotation for repair. After so many arguments Dell required it free of cost. But after six months it will again be damaged from the hinge. I am going to demand free life time service or replacement of a laptop with a good build quality laptop. Please check if we can file a case against Dell in consumer court. I required more nos of people who face the same issue.

Mein yeh problem 2 baar jhel chuka huun. First time mein laptop khareed ne ke second day hi mera laptop ki esi halat ho gyi thi. Fir dukan dar se baat krke laptop replace krva diya tha but after 6 months same problem hua hai. Aur 2 din pehle hi ese theek krane ke liye dala hai. Ab yeh 3000 rupees mein theek hoyega. Aur theek hone ke baad bhi pta nhi hai ki dubara kharab ho jaye. At first, I thought that Dell had the best quality laptops and I used to trust this brand, but from now on, I will never purchase a Dell laptop again.

At one year the first hinge got to stiff to work. I have the in home warrenty. A Dell service person replaced the hinge. Six months later the other hinge did the same thing. Again the service person replaced the hinge. But the hinges are very stiff, so there is no doubt the problem will continue. This is a well known issue to Dell but they refuse to actually fix the hinge problem. This is the third Dell model I have owned with hinge problems. I think I will avoid Dell in the future. The computers work great but if I can't open it, it's useless.

Bad design by DELL hinge failure is common issue, at least buy normal opening type laptop. They never accept bad design not inside India.

Fan ka exit necha ki traf ha.. kuch heating b lazmi hoti hay.. I stick with old elitebooks of HP.. even today they outperform these low quality new laptops if we use ssd with them.. it is surprising that 6th generation elitebook's battery backup is often 4 hours compared to this. Dell sells third class laptops now..
