you also said, to unplug uSB cable (I assume). Why would I have the printer usb cable plugged to pc usb connector. Isn't that the reason HP smart works wifi mode, not usb connections.? as u can see, i'm not too literated on computers. explanations or answers from the group are very welcome? thanks

The printer, apparently, must be powered on in order to be reconized by windows pc. , since not mention in the video

The problem here is that my printer was plugged-in (wired), so I could not cover that part. You can remove the printer from printers and scanners, this should work (not tested, but technically, this should work).
