Well done, you helped me. In case anyone has this issue and following this guide finds the WIA already on "automatic", i want you to know that for me it has been enough to restart only the very WIA by the option on the left of the menù (not even restarting the pc). 1:10

Tried all 3 of your suggestions. Continue to receive a security warning that windows has found a problem with this file. Does not have valid signature. Cannot install my ES300-W scanner in Win 11. Worked great in Win 10.

If it's a canon pixma, it often freezes up. Only by pulling the power cord out of the wall will reset the printer to normal usage

I have a HP 7740. When i go to the scan to computer on the printer screen it says connection required but I can scan from the pc program and print just fine. I had this issue when I installed the printer on windows 10 but I forget how I fixed it. I use the scan to computer all the time. any thoughts?

I have a separate scanner for my art studio...when now having W11 it wont allow the two screens to come up to use, only half the windows open to use my scanner ( its an epson perfection V500 photo scanner) worked well until i went to W11...now I am pullingmy hair out ...solo scanners are hard to come by because everyone trying to sell 2 in ones.. have a separate printer thats OK for now. Someone told me that W11 overides the older scanners and cant b used at all now..is that right?????? Your tutorial keeps mentioning printer but I am trying to get my :::scanner::: to preform normally....*oh sigh
