Glad to have an expert tell us what’s good and bad with our saws. Thank you Donny, my 395xp is on its way to you. Had it returned from customs due to my mistake.

I had horizontal scoring on my 395xp. It was WELL out of warranty, but husqvarna sent me an entire top end for FREE. They were very kind to me.

Bjarne Butler was showing us how those new style air filters let fine dust pass straight thru , can’t be doing the saw any good . I’ve got one of those 365 x-tork put over a 200 hours on it hasn’t been a problem yet , starts cold two or three pulls 👍🇨🇦

Thanks for sharing this information on your channel Donny. The first 372 x-torque I ported had a folded over boot like that. I have fixed several since. I am having another issue with the 365 & 372 x-torques I wanted to see if you have come accross, I'll be in touch with you about it.

@eurokid832 жыл бұрын
Interesting. I’ve got a customer who bought a 372 X-Torque and it doesn’t run quite right. Seems low on power. I’ll have to see if this is what’s going on with his saw. Thanks for the tip.
@donnywalker46912 жыл бұрын
No problem also as those saws break in you need to adjust the carbs right
@eurokid832 жыл бұрын
@@donnywalker4691 I’ve adjusted the carb, just seems like something is off. I’m thinking there’s a good chance that divider in the boot is folded like you’ve shown in your video. That’s my gut feeling anyway.

Very interesting, but not surprising that the folks at the factories are missing stuff like this. I guess, as a dealer, we just assume things will be right from the get go. I had a 572 XP that had a bearing spinning in the case causing an air leak. We are a Stihl and Husqvarna dealer but mostly bring Stihls in, although I really like the Husqvarnas also. I think the ideal shop carry both. I must be honest that I've steered away from bringing many Husqvarnas in because of getting to the carburetors on the cheaper ones. Lots of times we've had to remove the back handle just to get to the carburetor, also the bottom case seals on the cheaper ones. The pro saws are cool though! Thanks for the information, this is a good place to go for learning something new!

@mattfleming862 жыл бұрын
What Mr. Walker said. Even vintage macs and homelites run great on 40-50 to 1 with good fuel and good high quality oil. You will need to retune- but EVERY saw needs its tune checked EVERY time you run it. It should idle consistently and burble a little at WOT when warmed up. Doesn't matter if its an xl12 or an echo 7310.

They still have human assembly line, and that is where the problem lies. Some people have little sense of quality and pride in doing a decent job, and shouldn't work with anything in fabrication. I have had issues with a Jonsered saw for this same reason, sloppy workers who compete in fastest assembly. Result: the stop switch and wire wasn't connected, and a wire to the heated handle was pinched and broken.

It seem to me all the husky are have a lot Issues I mean I look at like this if you go to a use appliance store and if you a lot the same appliance that tells you stay way from that brand or you go to a junk yard and if you see a bunch of newer vehicles there to hurt you. There’s a problem with that Brand all I see is every body rebuilding all these husky saws
