How to fix Hypixel-Proxy issues! [DOESNT WORK ANYMORE, THANK YOU ADMINS]

This video has been taken down and it turns out that it is indeed SAFE to use this, so it was taken back up again. Also, KZbin keeps deleting my OWN PINNED COMMENT, so I will put the full explanations in the replies under this comment, because it seems youtube doesnt like me talking about IPs multiple times.

Basically, how this works is, it uses a numerical IP for sp mc production hypixel io, which is an alternative IP for mc hypixel net, the advantage about sp mc production hypixel io being that you dont have proxy issues when you connect to it. Back in the days, people were able to directly connect to the alternative IP, which you cant do anymore. Since you cant directly connect to the alternative IP in minecraft (because admins dont let you), we found a way to get around the blockade the admins made.

The sp mc production hypixel io IP is OFFICIAL, so there is no need to worry about this. The IP used in the video is the numerical IP of the alternative IP, you can check this by using a DNS lookup tool online and entering the sp mc production hypixel io IP (with '.' in between). If you look at these tools, it will tell you exactly the IP that has been used in the video, thus being NOT MALICIOUS and safe to use.

However, this video is NOT A MAGICAL PING BOOSTING TUTORIAL, IT IS DESIGNED TO FIX AN ISSUE THAT MOSTLY EUROPEAN PLAYERS HAVE. If you never had any issues like described in the video (Lag when swapping lobbies, lag when connecting to hypixel), THIS VIDEO WILL NOT HELP YOU. With that being said, have fun using this. Also, I might need someone who is Asian and has proxy issues to contact me on discord (ensyl), as I want to test wether or not it helps for Asian proxies aswell, because I couldnt test it (because Im not from Asia).

​@@l1nked712The Thumbnail was obviously exaggerated a bit, but your ping when proxies are REALLY bad, which at the time of recording the clip, was actually very bad, the clip in the beginning ia actually trying to connect to hypixel and it taking MINUTES to get into a lobby, and then getting limbod, making it impossible for me to play. The main point of the crazy jump of that thumbnail is to symbolize the CRAZY jump in ping it gives you (because you dont have an ultra high Ping.) I suspect you dont live in europe which is why you cant really tell if this does anything, again, if u never had these issues, dont use it, it will not magically boost anyones ping.

I don’t recommend doing this. Connecting to an unofficial proxy can be dangerous, and is less secure than hypixel’s. While there’s a chance it’s totally fine, there’s also a chance it’s not. You should probably take this down. People who will follow this almost certainly don’t understand what they’re doing, and the implications it can have on their security.

Its not placebo though, I can swap back and forth (and I did that a decent bit of times) and every time I dont use this, my ping spikes when joining hypixel / swapping lobbies. The only exception to this is obviously when there are no EU-Proxy issues, which for instance, today in the morning, was perfectly fine, so it wouldnt be any different. However, when there are EU-Proxy issues, like yesterday, this proxy thing actually works.

There are no third party proxies or something like that. This just make you connect directly to the sp mc production of hypixel, which is more stable and fast. The thumbnail is a bit clickbait but definitely worth watching.

Watch out, unsecure proxy servers may give you better ping, BUT they are a huge risk to your data. They'll be able to see all your traffic and you'll be left vulnerable to hackers stealing your password and using the rest of your information to launch phishing attacks. If you've already connected to it, immediately unconnected and change your minecraft password.

Well the numerical IP being used in the video is just another IP of hypixel, thus being trustworthy. whois.domaintools.com/172.65.229.74 This looks quite legit, and this forum post (to be fair made in 2020) says the same thing: hypixel.net/threads/trying-to-find-numerical-ip-for-a-friend.3066412/ I dont know much about this, but if you run tracert 172.65.229.74 on cmd, you will find it will go through a Cloudflare server, which is what hypixel uses.

This isn't a third party "proxy server". In this context, "proxy" is simply referring to Hypixel's own servers that you connect to, which then route you to the actual game lobbies using BungeeCord, hence the name "proxy". Furthermore, a Minecraft server CANNOT steal your password or session token by you simply connecting to it.

Glad it helped! It doesnt actually affect tps though, TPS is the servers performance (Ticks per second), ping is your connection to the server, so the TPS shouldnt be better, however, mods are very inaccurate when it comes to determining TPS because the way mods determine TPS also involves ping. So in other words, it doesnt actually affect the TPS itself, but it affects your ping, which is what mods use to determine TPS.

So you could use a VPN, which is technically bannable on hypixel, or you could use this, which i dont even know what exactly it does because I didnt come up with this.

Dont use it if you never have proxy issues. You tend to have these issues when ur living in central europe, from my experience mostly Germany or netherlands. The best way to tell if you have proxy issues is if when you swap a lobby, it loads the chunks VERY slowly. If you never had these issues it probably means you dont live in that area, so you dont need to do it.

I usually always used a VPN on Canada and connected from canada to hypixel, which always worked. However, VPNs are still technically against hypixels rules, so you shouldnt use them, which is why I made this video.

If ur in NA and do this fix, it will most likely not affect your connection at all or might worsen your ping by a tiny bit. So if you are in Europe and have these issues, you should use the fix in the video, if you live in Europe and dont have these issues, dont use it. If you live in NA you dont have these issues anyway, so you shouldnt use it. (Ik this response is a little late but I really didnt see this comment before)

Could you dm me on discord (ensyl) and show me more whats happening when connecting to hypixel? I want to make sure its the same issue, otherwise its not going to help you. Because I heard Asian people have a similar issue and Im still not sure if thats a proxy issue or just them living so far away that the ping is naturally worse.
