you really did miss out the most impoprtant part - the cable that attaches the home button attaches in a different way to the others via a clasp kind of mechanism. pretty critical and, as I discovered, easy to break when you assume its the same mechanism as the other cables.

does the replacement screen have a grid effect? i bought a iPad air screen on eBay and the screen has a grid effect when you put the iPad in the sunlight, might be because of the quality.

Not all people know that. If you by accident pop off the motherboard it can be replaced without any issue.

How did you find the iRemover compared to using a heat gun for tasks like these? You looked like you were having a bit of trouble with it but I don't know if a heat gun or what have you would have been any easier or if it was just because the damage to the glass was so extensive.

Not so I carried my iPad Air to fix . They fixed 5 days later it broke around the Home Screen carried it back they told me the warranty was void because it was cracked and wanted to charge me another 250 to fix. Not too not good at all

This repair actually does not work. I have done this two times now with different screens and 1. there is no way to get the right side with the ribbon cables to stay closed and 2. after closing up the home button stops working.
