How to FIX LAG and BOOST FPS in Once Human(EASY)

My ingame settings doesnt have the option Graphics API to choose Dx11 but I have rx580, same amd gpu as yours. Any fix?

Kind of bad advice in Once Human, good advice in any other game. I (and others) found turning the graphics settings down performed worse than on max. Since it's not a competitive FPS, limiting the FPS to either 120 o 60 is recommended as your GPU won't work as hard and overheat like this game makes it, which will cause slowdown and studder as it's throttling and leave Vsync on. It's 90% server lag in this game.

It got worse in Way of Winter since players are encouraged to build bases surround the Thermal Tower. So we got a bunch of dude that build mansion that heat up the freaking CPU just by staying near the Thermal Tower. My CPU run at 30-40% while doing loot run in stronghold, but when I return to my Hive, it reached 80-90% CPU usage. The game performance was an absolute shit show. I can run AAA games fine without using as much CPU and GPU as this game.

Turning graphics up shifts the processing more to the GPU, turning it down shifts it to the cpu. If you have a weaker CPU, that's why there's frame drops.

@@zero604 No need for such things. If you increase graphics settings, all of your components take a harder hit, but most of the time it hits GPU the hardest, so GPU may become bottleneck, even if CPU was bottlenecking on lower settings. But there's no "shifting" my dude. You can't just shift some of the load from CPU to the GPU. That's not how it works. Don't make it confusing for newbies for no reason.

Dx 12 with dlss at quality gave me 40+ fps
