I wouldn't recommend. I tried this using your instructions and my finger slipped and hit the wall. Now my house is nearly completely burned down and just to get nothing in return and certainly no clean jet mode for my Blitzwing. Thanks a lot mate. They made SS Crosshairs's kibble (optionally) removable, and they could've easily done the same for Blitzwing.

I saw one fan mode made his kibble into a flight stand. There's no reason why with the Leader class price point that they couldn't have made it detachable as an option.

This figure should’ve been designed better, or made as a parts former. But there’s so many crybabies in the community about parts forming, HASBRO chose the route they did. Never understood bitching about parts forming, OMEGA SUPREME is a parts former and he’s a fantastic figure.

I was wondering if I was the only one who thought that blitzwing would be amazing if you had the option of taking the back pack off. Turns out someone came up with it 2 years before me. Still haven’t been able to get the pin out though, but it’s nice to see that it’s possible at least

I think the only way the bottom kibble on the jet could make sense is if you imagine it as some kind of biplane.

Genius. Removing the backpack shoulda been an option from the factory. Just a little bit of part-forming (just like ironhide, ratchet, bumblebee, cliffjumper, junkions, ultra magnus, ...)

In jet mode, if you fold out the other wings on the tank kibble, it gives it an x wing look, and it fixes it for me lol

You're better off using your Titan's return as the jet mode stand in. That's what I intend to do with the Takara Legends version of the Titan's return variant.

This video has made me decide to pull the trigger on getting this guy next payday. I've done similar mods before. Apeface's clear painted sheild piece, the one absolutely essential for his equally awful jet mode broke on me. I then decided he didn't need all that plane kibble, since I keep him in his monkey mode "yes I know gorilla wheeeh". He looks far better in gorilla mode with the nosecone gone, which was a more complex mod than this, since that holds the neck joint for gorilla's head. It worked out fine though, and other than having a potential bowling ball size scrote, if it falls down, there's no issue. That may also be no issue depending on your personal sense of humor.

The tank kibble is supposed to be on blitzwing.. i have both this one and the titans return version. Jet mode on that was better but still. G1 toy also had its flaws. Its a tripple changer it will always have kibble

yes in robot mode is fine but this is just for display, besides its anyones toy so that "supposed" kibble is up for the collectors choice, people shouldn't just have to stick with the lore around a transformers back pack its their figure

I was hoping the tank treads could be folded around the arms to rest under the wings, which would make the profile thinner in jet mode. Oh well, I'll stick with my Legends Blitzwing for the mo.

I won't be doing this as I am clumsy and will break mine but this mod does technically make the toy more g1 accurate since the turret is removable. Funnily enough doing so has the same effect on the g 1 toy.

I have never really liked the original G1 design. The only good triple changer was Springer. I want to see a studio series 86 Springer. I already have the siege Springer and hes good.

@@Megatronic_Studios Overall out of all the triple changers his is the best because it looks good in all modes. He should be leader of the autobots not Rodimus who doesn't even WANT responsibility. Ultra Magnus is too low IQ to be a leader, but Springer is obviously a veteran with lots of experience so the Matrix should go to him. I do think a "bigger more mature" Springer that grows after he opens the matrix would be cool. So instead of a armored car, attack chopper, and robot he can now transform into a armored truck, heavy fighter craft, (like Jetfire but green!) and bigger robot (ultra magnus height). Did you like the Siege Springer? Is IDW comics a SJW soyboy comic book? I have never read any IDW comic before. I only like Transformer Prime lately because it had good action in it. I'm surprised people still read comic books. Why has there not been any new animated movies (real ones! not those low budget direct-to-video ones) since 1986???
