I haven't tried this yet but I'm a fixer of all other things so I'm sure this will solve my kidlet's wobbly wheel issue. Thank you! Will report back when I grab a wave washer and or o ring!

It worked! I have a vista and used danco #67. 13/16” outside dimension (o.d.) x 1/16” thick

I have an old uppa vista. front left wheel became seriously wobbly. I bought an o-ring from ebay (UK), specifically: "IMPERIAL Size O-Rings. When only one O Ring needed. NITRILE Buna-N, NBR (R-)" R-12 = 11/16" x 3/32" (meaning, internal diameter 11/16th of an inch, and a cross-sectional width of 3/32nds of an inch). The internal diameter of this ring was wider than is strictly necessary for the uppa vista. However, I found that this o-ring immediately hugely helped. I will buy another for the other wheel now...

Great tip and great video. This worked on my joovy, now I can jog as fast as I can to with no wobble. The drag on the pivots is not noticable for steering around corners, backing up etc.

Would this work for the Icandy core? I’ve just bought one second hand and the front wheels are terrible. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the plastic ridge on the wheel though so what would the d ring have to fit round? The metal part?

Hello thanks for the video. I have the issue with the yoyo2. Any tips for unscrewing the wheel to do this fix?

There is a plastic cap on top of the front wheel axis that you can pull with a flat screwdriver. Then there is a Torx T30H screw that holds the axis. I’ve used 10 mm internal / 15 mm external diameter wave washers for my Yoyo2, worked perfectly fine (thickness was 0.3 mm, but I don’t think it’s really important). Hope that helps.

I’ve got my wave washers on Amazon, just ordered an assortment kit with various sizes and chose the ones that fit best.

Hello, I'm looking at getting a pram chassis at a fairly cheap price - the seller says when the handle bar is extended, the pram wobbles. Do you have any ideas as to what may be causing that and if it is fixable? They say the wobble isn't there with the handle all the way down and I believe they're talking about the extendable height handle bar which may have issues inside with the actual metal cable thing which connects to the back wheels brake or if it is the wheels themselves ie an issue with the swivelling? I'm not sure without actually seeing it in person, just wanted to ask if you have experienced something like this?

I would imagine they're not talking about the wheels wobbling but rather something loose in the chassis. I've never seen any cases where length of the handle would affect the wheels wobbling in any case (and can't think how these things could be related), but definitely a chassis I would see personally before buying. :)

Hi, our chicco stroller front wheels are keep coming off. Will the same solution work on that too?

Do you have to remove the wave washer ( i.e the original springy washer ) before you put the o-rings in ?
@BarnevognverkstedNo Жыл бұрын
This is hard to say without doing the repair myself. Just try the easiest way first, and then troubleshoot with additional (or fewer) components until it feels/works right - it's a hands-on/feeling whether what you do improves functioning thing. :)

How can I reduce the swivel on the front wheels of the walker? It's not wobbly or loose, just too much swivel for my husband.

Which system works best to o-ring or pencil rubbers to solve this problem of the front wheels
@BarnevognverkstedNo4 жыл бұрын
The best is wave washers, but it can be a bit tough to get the right dimensions depending on the stroller :)
